Carol Adams is a ceramic artist based in Gowanus, Brooklyn, who first fell in love with clay more than 40 years ago and describes the material's malleability as a continuing source of discovery. Her practice spans functional and sculptural work, ranging from decorative jars featuring cityscape designs to figurative ceramic sculptures, with recent pieces including We Were Loved, 3 Sisters, and Birds.
