Denton Burrows is a New York–based artist and creative entrepreneur, born and raised in Manhattan. He earned a B.A. in Fine Arts with a minor in Graphic Design from Lehigh University, where he studied under esteemed artist and professor Berrisford Boothe. Following his undergraduate studies, he was admitted to the prestigious Master's program in Illustration at The School of Visual Arts, studying under the tutelage of legendary illustrator Marshall Arisman. After graduating, Burrows immersed himself in multiple facets of the art world. He has exhibited his work in over 70 shows nationwide, including two solo exhibitions in New York City. His illustration work includes collaborations with major brands such as ESPN and Pabst Blue Ribbon, where he was selected as the 2016 Can Art Winner—resulting in his design being featured on over 35 million cans nationwide, as well as a large-scale illustration campaign across PBR's delivery truck fleet. New York City—an ever-changing, high-energy organism—has always been Denton's primary source of inspiration. His work is further informed by current events, technology, sociology, psychology, travel, and a constant pursuit of new experiences and alternative cultures. Having traveled to all 50 states and over 35 countries, his perspective is shaped by a wide range of environments and influences. Driven by a passion for both art and entrepreneurship, Burrows became project manager of the Centre-fuge Public Art Project in 2013. In 2014, he co-founded Dripped On Productions, a full-service art production company specializing in murals and street art. In 2016, they expanded their vision by launching Dripped On The Road, a traveling artist residency program supporting muralists, graffiti artists, and illustrators across the country.

Denton is drawn to subject matter that is intriguing, complex, and visually engaging—work that allows him to explore and express ideas about the world we live in today. His practice functions as a form of visual social commentary, serving both as a personal means of understanding the world and as a way to invite others to do the same. Through a cohesive and evolving visual language, he translates layered ideas into imagery that encourages reflection and dialogue. Through bold line work and unconventional color combinations, Denton's pieces capture the emotional weight of an increasingly interconnected world. His subjects—often contemplative and introspective—exist within this complexity, reflecting on their place within it. At its core, his work seeks to reveal the tensions, overlaps, and relationships that define modern life, and to highlight the potential for insight, awareness, and meaningful conversation within those intersections.
