Elijah Meyer is an Arizona-born, Brooklyn-based photographer whose current body of work traces back to his exit from the Mormon church. According to his own artist statement, he turned to photography as a way to work through questions of religion, effectively adopting the camera as a replacement for the faith practice he left. Meyer earned a BFA in photography from Pratt Institute, graduating in 2026, and presents his work under the name "meeting people is easy."
