Esther Punny

Tuula Cox aka Esther Punny is an artist working with the mediums of dance, visual art, textile art, music, video, and writing. Based in New York but originally from Vantaa, she focuses on themes such as fairy tales, intergenerational relationships, family, memories, and the bonds between humanity, nature, and animals. For the Open Studios weekend, Tuula transforms a coworking office nook into a whimsical fairy tale experience using only second-hand materials. There is a blanket fort, a curated selection of vintage books for reading, a do-it-yourself collage bookmark station, and vintage-inspired love notes to take home. Drawings, analog and digital collage, and video art by the artist decorate the walls of this little magical sanctuary! Where? Office number 208 in The Shop BK, located at 420 Carroll St. When?
