Imari DuSauzay is a Brooklyn-based photographer whose work has been included in "Committed to the Image: Contemporary Black Photographers," a 2001 exhibition and accompanying catalog at the Brooklyn Museum of Art featuring ninety-four African American photographers, and in "MFON: Women Photographers of the African Diaspora," a 2017 anthology surveying more than one hundred women photographers of the African diaspora. She has also taken part in "Brooklyn Utopias: Along the Canal," a community public-art project organized around the Gowanus Canal by the Old Stone House, with work shown on a banner installation at Coffey Park, and has kept a working connection to the Gowanus arts community through studio space at Gowanus Creative Studios.
