My photography celebrates my surroundings and transformations - whether in my family, the Brooklyn neighborhoods I call home, or the landscapes I encounter. As a mother-wife-photographer, I’m immersed in the complex interactions associated with coming of age. As a New Yorker, I engage the City and its dynamism, photographing Gowanus, the trails and meadows of Prospect Park and the New York cityscape. I am also drawn to the open spaces and energy of the mountains of Colorado. I take inspiration from my family, architecture (old and new), urban life, and the majesty of nature.
