Being born and raised in Greenpoint I’m always excited and grateful to show my art here. I paint in an abstract manner creating art that is highly personal in form, whether working in shapes that are amorphous in nature or at times geometrical in design. By constructing these images through an extensive thought and sketching process my art then becomes verifications and illuminations after preparation and investigations in their entirety.

I explore creativity in my art using various mediums and enjoy painting with acrylic, oil, gouache ,or draw with colored pencil, ink, and graphite. The work created contains carefully rendered gradations through the use of chiaroscuro to depict sculptured elements of geometric forms or shapes more organic and fluid . My work can shift from abstracting a form found in nature , in one case a bird or by developing a composition more intuitive where I use my imagination to investigate a thought or single word to be then used for the premise of a piece. The reality of life for me can take on many variations and emotional moments passing through a single day and I see my work illuminating these moments of feelings and ideas that have had or might affect me . Underscoring this theme my art is a documentation through which shapes, colors, and designs take hold to be constructed in an abstracted way.
