Kare Ceramics

Kare Ceramics is a collection of bespoke, handmade ceramics made for the everyday. I believe that ceramics are made to not just be looked at but to be handled. I like to think of people who are holding my ergonomic thumbprint cups as not just holding them, but the cup is holding your hand back. I hand build or wheel throw every piece by hand, making each and every piece one of a kind. I create my work in a shared pottery studio in brooklyn with my french bulldog Mano. Each piece is made to be sturdy enough to stand up to a pug in a china shop.
