Kim Provenzano is a ceramicist based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, who shows her work through Greenpoint Open Studios. She works primarily in hand-built ceramic pottery, combining functional vessel forms with figurative and nature-inspired motifs, including goat-head-shaped vases and sunflower designs. Provenzano also owns and operates a small styling studio in the neighborhood, where she has worked as a hairstylist for close to two decades and describes bringing an artist's sensibility to that work as well.
