Lauren Alyssa Bierly

Hi, I’m Lauren Alyssa Bierly, a mixed media artist researching consciousness and emotional time through color, light, sound, and language. For the first decade of my career, I separated my inner and outer perceptions into different series–Color Translations and Architecture of Memory. Color Translations explores my inner world, or mindspace, documenting personal experiences of synaesthesia; while Architecture of Memory explores my outer environments, a bodysphere, documenting perceptions through the lens of time.
