Mixed mediaLOVENOTES (Lola Lovenotes) is a New York City muralist, illustrator, and teaching artist whose name grew out of her early involvement in Bronx street art culture. Active since 2013, her paintings incorporate nature, heritage, and social-justice themes, often centered on feminine and fantastical imagery. She has painted for the Bushwick Collective and the Meadows Music and Arts Festival, and contributed to Make Room USA's national campaign on rent affordability. She has worked as a teaching muralist with Thrive Collective since 2021, previously with Creative Art Works and CCCADI on youth mural projects, and served as art director and curator for Escape Artists Collective. Her public projects include GenEquality's Inclusive Safety Mural Series and "The Doors of Make Room" installation in Washington, D.C. She is based in New York City.
