PrintmakingMy work is inspired by abstract forms in nature and science, especially the vessel—for its history, symbolism, and anthropomorphic resemblance to the human body. Through layering and intersecting shapes, I explore transformation, connection, and the complexities of relationships. In the uneasiness of our political and environmental systems, I seek optimism through visual language, as a way to reflect resilience, adaptation, and the enduring need for positive connection.
My work is inspired by abstract forms found in nature, science, and particularly the vessel— for its rich history and symbolism, for its sensual and anthropomorphic forms and resemblance to the human body. Through the interplay and layering of line, color and abstract shape, I explore movement, pattern, and variation. Where forms intersect and overlap, new shapes and colors emerge. These visual interactions reflect the intricacy of real life: conversations, connection, and the complexities of relationships.
