Sheila Kramer

Shifting changes in light have intrigued me since I was a child growing up in the Midwest. As a young woman, I learned to fly single-engine airplanes, and these experiences of flying long hours in various weather conditions are paramount to my artistic practice. The constant weather changes have become my inspiration and imagery. The changes in the atmosphere are personal records of light as a physical changing presence.
