Founded in 2024, The Ritual Division is an artist-run organization that provides space for the production of artworks, and through cooperation, creates new opportunities for artists and craftspeople to explore the many "rituals" of art-making together. In all that we do, The Ritual Division seeks to cultivate a knowledgeable, passionate, and diverse community of art workers who value collaboration and experimentation, and to provide them with resources for making. The Division grew out of its founding members' prior experiences as art fabricators, where it is common for art workers to learn from each other and bring their diverse skills together to create a single large-scale work of art. By applying this way of thinking in our everyday work, we can begin from our deep commitment to one another to create projects that reach farther than any creator can alone.
