Zeso, born Thomas in the Lyon region of France, is a graffiti and street artist who has practiced for more than 25 years, becoming seriously involved in the medium in his early twenties. Self-taught, he works both in studio canvases and large-scale murals, favoring a freestyle approach over pre-sketched designs and drawing on Japanese and Latino imagery and mythology. Zeso lived in New York City for roughly a decade, painting extensively at 5Pointz in Long Island City alongside fellow members of the TD4 crew and exhibiting at Low Brow Artique in Bushwick. His murals have since appeared across France, Spain, Germany, Japan, and the United States, and he has held solo exhibitions at Street-Art-City in Lurcy-Levis, France.
