albertz benda is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2015, with its New York space in Chelsea and, since 2021, a second Los Angeles location that operates within a domestic setting. The gallery's international program centers on solo presentations of emerging and mid-career artists and thematic group exhibitions exploring materiality and cultural and social dialogues, alongside research that recontextualizes historic figures within contemporary frameworks. Artists shown include Sharif Bey, Joana Choumali, Amy Lincoln, Tony Marsh, Robert Peterson, Felipe Pantone, and Gamaliel Rodríguez, and the gallery's artists are represented in public collections internationally; it also participates in fairs such as Felix Art Fair and Market Art Fair.
