Atlantic Gallery is an artist-run gallery founded by a group of fine artists in 1974 on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, from which it takes its name. It moved to SoHo in 1979, then to Chelsea in 2007, and settled into its current Chelsea space in 2012. The gallery is collectively maintained and managed by a select group of member artists and remains committed to supporting creative autonomy and excellence, mounting rotating exhibitions of member and invited artists along with periodic open calls and gallery rentals. Atlantic Gallery marked its 50th anniversary in 2024 with an exhibition bringing together current and early members, including a tribute to founding member Sally Brody.
