BRIC is a nonprofit arts and media organization that has helped shape Brooklyn's cultural and media landscape for more than four decades, headquartered at BRIC House in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. It presents contemporary art exhibitions and supports emerging artists and young people through fellowships, including youth curatorial and media fellowships; produces BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, the major outdoor performing-arts festival centered on the Lena Horne Bandshell; and operates community media platforms including BRIC TV, Brooklyn Free Speech television, and BRIC Radio. BRIC also offers affordable classes in audio production, video editing, graphic design, and photography for Brooklyn residents, with a stated mission of centering diverse voices that drive culture forward while igniting learning in people of all ages.
