Center for Architecture
Design galleryThe Center for Architecture is a cultural venue for architecture and the built environment in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, and the home of the American Institute of Architects' New York chapter (AIANY). Opened in October 2003 in a space designed by architect Andrew Berman, it works to promote public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design through rotating exhibitions across three floors of galleries, lectures and public forums, K-12 education programs and summer camps, scholarships and grants for students and design professionals, and architecture tours around New York City ranging from walking tours to boat cruises.
