The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), headquartered in New York City, is a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing the appreciation and practice of the principles of traditional architecture and its allied arts among educators, professionals, students, and enthusiasts. It was formed in 2002 through the merger of Classical America (founded 1968) and the Institute of Classical Architecture (founded 1992), and today operates fifteen regional chapters across the United States. Its programs include continuing-education courses, summer studios, professional intensives, drawing tours, travel programs, and youth education, along with a Certificate in Classical Architecture and a plaster cast collection. The ICAA publishes the annual journal The Classicist and administers awards recognizing contemporary classical design, including the Arthur Ross Awards.
