Ceres Gallery is a nonprofit feminist gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, dedicated to promoting contemporary women in the arts by providing exhibition space and addressing women artists' historically limited access to commercial galleries. Established in 1984, the gallery emerged as a program of the New York Feminist Art Institute (NYFAI) and operates today from the Landmark Arts Building in Chelsea's gallery district. Ceres presents curated group and solo exhibitions spanning painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, and mixed media, and regards its annual Members' Exhibition as an act of cultural preservation centering women's perspectives in contemporary art; recent programming includes the 2026 exhibition Raising Women's Voices, with themes ranging from socio-political activism to environmental justice and personal identity.
