DTR Modern Galleries
Art galleryDTR Modern Galleries is a commercial art gallery founded by Dr. Ted Vassilev, who began his career at Christie's in New York before specializing in the market for Andy Warhol's work in the late 1990s and early 2000s and later opening his own gallery. Established in Boston's Back Bay in the mid-2000s, DTR Modern has since expanded to New York, Washington, D.C., and Palm Beach, dealing in modern masters through postwar and contemporary art. Its secondary-market roster includes Picasso, Rodin, Giacometti, Lichtenstein, Warhol, and Dali, alongside contemporary artists such as Damien Hirst, Hunt Slonem, and Robert Longo, and the gallery also offers consignment services to collectors.
