Half Gallery
Art galleryHalf Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in New York, founded in 2008 by writer and gallerist Bill Powers. From the outset it has focused on discovering and championing emerging artists, building a roster that has included Justin Adian, Genieve Figgis, Daniel Heidkamp, Vaughn Spann, and Blair Thurman. The gallery has since expanded to a Los Angeles location and an Annex space, and represents more than 70 artists spanning conceptual, abstract, and figurative practices. Powers, who wrote for publications including Purple, MUSE, and The New York Times before founding the gallery, also co-founded the limited-edition print venture Exhibition A with his wife, designer Cynthia Rowley.
