Harkawik is a contemporary art gallery founded by curator and artist Peter Harkawik, who organized his first institutional solo presentation in 2009 before establishing regular gallery programming in Los Angeles in 2018. The gallery expanded to New York in 2020, first on the Lower East Side and later to a renovated space in Tribeca. Its program foregrounds lens-based work, positioning photography alongside sculpture, installation, and painting across a roster of about fifteen artists, including Claudia Levin, Obi Agwam, Joey Frank, and Nazim Unal Yilmaz. Harkawik is a member of NADA and Gallery Platform Los Angeles and does not accept unsolicited artist submissions.
