Janice Everett is a British-born, Brooklyn-based artist-designer. After earning her MA at the Royal College of Art in London, she moved to New York to work as a commercial textile artist while documenting the downtown Manhattan art scene through photography and writing in the late 1970s. She later created hand-woven textiles and fiber art, and now focuses on quilted textile pieces drawing on her design training.
