Knockdown Center is a cultural space, performance venue, and art center in Maspeth, Queens, occupying a building constructed in 1903 for the Gleason-Tiebout Glass Company and later used as the Manhattan Door Factory, which made 'knock-down' door frames. The factory sat vacant after 2010 before reopening as an arts venue in 2013. The renovated complex includes a roughly 20,000-square-foot main hall, an outdoor area known as the Ruins, a gallery, and several smaller halls, hosting exhibitions, installations, film, and performance alongside concerts and dance events such as Bushwig. Since 2019 it has also housed Basement, a techno club presenting dark electronic music programming within the larger complex.
