LatchKey Gallery
Art galleryLatchKey Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Manhattan founded in 2018 by Amanda L. Uribe, who serves as its founder and director. The gallery's program centers artists who challenge historical narratives and fixed ideas, exhibiting work by previously overlooked practitioners across painting, sculpture, textiles, and mixed media, and helping expand their collector base among private and institutional buyers. Its roster has included artists such as Brianna Bass, Kevin Claiborne, Dominique Duroseau, Katinka Huang, Lina Puerta, and Edra Soto, alongside a broader group of exhibited artists. Uribe, who holds a master's degree in Modern and Contemporary Art from Manchester University/Sotheby's Institute in London, previously worked on cultural education initiatives with Peru's government before relocating to New York in 2011.
