LOMEX is a contemporary art gallery in Tribeca, Manhattan, run by owner-curator Alexander Shulan and focused on emerging artists. Its name references the Lower Manhattan Expressway, the failed Robert Moses highway project that would have cut through SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown. The gallery's original Walker Street space opened in March 2021 with a show by painter Andrea Fourchy, and it now operates two Walker Street locations presenting rotating exhibitions, including a group show curated by Leah Newman and a solo exhibition by artist Jeff Egner. LOMEX also runs a publishing arm, Lomex Books, maintains a Las Vegas location, and participates in national art fairs.
