Nicodim is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2006 in Los Angeles by Romanian-born dealer Mihai Nicodim, who opened his first space in the city's Chinatown before later relocating to Boyle Heights. The gallery expanded to Bucharest, Romania, in 2014 and to New York's Soho neighborhood in 2021, and today represents roughly thirty artists across its locations. Its program is known for early support of the Cluj School of Romanian painters, including Adrian Ghenie, and for artists who reassess art history from outsider or overlooked perspectives, among them Oscar Murillo and Moffat Takadiwa, whose work has entered institutions such as the Hammer Museum, LACMA, and M+ Hong Kong. The gallery mounts a regular schedule of solo and group exhibitions and takes part in international art fairs.
