NowHere is a Tribeca gallery focused on showcasing Japanese and international contemporary artists through exhibitions, an artist-residency studio program, and art-fair participation. The Tokyo-formed duo exonemo, comprising Kensuke Sembo and Yae Akaiwa, whose work explores digital and physical space through humor and everyday technology and has earned a Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica and a Whitney Museum commission, held solo shows at the gallery in 2019 and 2022. The program also includes artists such as Oscar Oiwa, Shinji Murakami, and Toshihisa Yoda, whose multi-decade survey the gallery has presented, alongside recurring group exhibitions exploring surreality, dystopia, and cultural identity. NowHere has maintained an active exhibition schedule since at least 2019.
