Pace Prints is a fine-art print gallery and publisher in Manhattan, established in 1968 to give contemporary artists resources for creating and exhibiting limited-edition prints and multiples; its inaugural project was Lucas Samaras's book, titled Book. The workshop's approach to artist-printer collaboration traces to master printer Aldo Crommelynck, who worked for decades with Pablo Picasso, and its facilities include Manhattan print studios offering etching, woodcut, linocut, and ukiyo-e-style printmaking, plus a handmade-paper workshop in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The gallery has produced editions with artists including John Chamberlain, Helen Frankenthaler, and Chuck Close, alongside contemporary artists such as Nina Chanel Abney and Jonas Wood, and is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America.
