Riley - Young Studio

Shared studio of Jan Riley and Amy Young. Jan works on a flat-bed scanner to create still-lives using flowers and other objects. She is inspired by Dutch and Flemish floral compositions. She was trained as a printmaker but has used the scanner to make stand-alone images since 2010. Amy is a photographer, collagist, and street artist. While still placing tiny art objects into the streets to be collected, in 2020 she turned to creating cyanotype prints with mixed media. She is inspired by Dada, art history, and the everyday.
