Sims Contemporary is a contemporary art gallery in Chelsea, Manhattan, that grew out of Nuu Muse Contemporary, a gallery previously based in Dallas; the rebrand marked its move into New York's art scene. Led by founder and director CJ, the gallery describes its mission as collaborating with visionary artists to nurture their creativity and expand their careers, working with emerging, mid-career, and established artists alike. It approaches art as a means of dialogue, introspection, and transformation, and has presented a number of exhibitions since relocating to New York, including group and solo shows. Sims Contemporary also offers its Chelsea space for rental and maintains an open-submission program for artists.
