Storefront for Art and Architecture is a nonprofit exhibition space in SoHo, Manhattan, founded in 1982 by Kyong Park with R.L. Seltman and Arleen Schloss, initially in a small storefront on Prince Street before moving to its current triangular Kenmare Street location. The organization stages exhibitions, discussions, competitions, and publications examining how art and architecture shape public policy and city life. Artist Shirin Neshat co-directed the organization with Park through the mid-1990s, and in 1993 its now-signature rotating-panel facade was designed through a collaboration between artist Vito Acconci and architect Steven Holl, blurring the boundary between the gallery interior and the street.
