Uffner & Liu
Art galleryUffner & Liu is a contemporary art gallery on Manhattan's Lower East Side, founded in September 2008 by Rachel Uffner as Rachel Uffner Gallery. The gallery began in a small storefront on Orchard Street before relocating to a larger space on Suffolk Street in 2014, later expanded in 2019 into a two-floor building with three exhibition spaces. In 2025 gallery director Lucy Liu became a partner, and the program was renamed Uffner & Liu. The gallery represents emerging and mid-career artists, with a particular focus on female-identifying creators, working across painting, sculpture, video, and installation, including Arghavan Khosravi, Sheree Hovsepian, Bianca Beck, and Roger White, and participates in international art fairs.
