Visual AIDS is a New York City arts organization founded in 1988 that describes itself as the only arts organization fully dedicated to raising AIDS awareness and creating dialogue around HIV issues. Its work centers on using art to support artists living with HIV/AIDS, provoke public dialogue, and preserve the artistic legacy of the AIDS crisis on the premise that "AIDS is not over."
