WallWorks New York is a contemporary art gallery in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx, founded in 2014 by graffiti pioneer John "CRASH" Matos together with Robert Kantor, with Anna Matos serving as gallery director. Inspired by the experimental spirit of the earlier Bronx space Fashion Moda, the gallery presents the legacy and continuing evolution of graffiti and street art, exhibiting both pioneering figures and emerging artists whose work extends the tradition into contemporary practice. It opened with an unofficial preview show in September 2014 ahead of a formal launch the following January, and continues to mount rotating exhibitions alongside a shop selling original art, prints, books, and related goods.
