Williamsburg Art & Historical Center is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1996 by artist Yuko Nii in a landmark former bank building near the Williamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn. Housed in the 1867 Kings County Savings Bank, a French Second Empire structure with high ceilings and large windows, the center was created around Nii's Bridge Concept, a mission to connect artists of all disciplines from around the world with the local community. It presents roughly nine exhibitions a year, including juried group salons open to member artists, alongside performances, lectures, and seminars. Over its history it has hosted more than two hundred exhibitions featuring thousands of artists. The center is based in the Southside section of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
