Art galleryWoodward Gallery is a contemporary art gallery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, established in 1994. Over three decades it has presented exhibitions of modern and contemporary art and has shown work by artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Jasper Johns, Franz Kline, Sol LeWitt, Joan Mitchell, and Richard Hambleton. Beyond its indoor exhibition program, the gallery runs the Gates Project, which turns its storefront security gates into rotating street art, and maintains an outdoor Mural Project space for public-facing contemporary work.
