Eliza Stein

“Hyperfocus” is a series of studies of eyes and vintage camera lenses inspired by the act of collecting. I am excited to present these paintings along with the collages of my mother, Laura J. Stein. I chose this series specifically because together they represent our lifelong creative dialogue: she cuts out brushstrokes and turns them into collages, and I’ve turned collage clippings into brushstrokes.
