Irene Feleo (b.1989) is a multidisciplinary artist currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She works across the mediums of painting, ceramics, animation and tattooing. She was born in Sydney, Australia, to Filipino immigrant parents where she was raised and spent most of her life. In her mid-20’s she moved to NYC to pursue a career in motion graphics and animation, all the while experimenting and developing her personal art practice. Her work is inspired by the blending of digital and organic worlds, contemporary symbolism, superstition, and emotional revelries through the personal gaze. Irene’s work has been screened and exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney, Berlin, and New York.

I am an Australian multidisciplinary artist, designer, animator and art director based in Brooklyn, NY. My professional commercial career has seen me collaborate with incredible clients in the past 14 years, such as Coca-Cola, Mcdonalds, Uber, Meta, Apple, Cash App, and Refinery29. I have worked as a staff member for some amazing production studios, such as Vandal, LVLY and most recently Scholar NY, where I worked as an Art Director and Associate Creative Director leading teams in creative, weird, and wonderful campaigns for the screen. My personal art practice is inspired by the blending of organic and digital worlds, superstition, and emotional revelries through the personal gaze. My art has been screened and exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney, Berlin, and New York. My writing has been published with Free the Verse, Mercado Vicente, and Passing Notes.
