Jason Woodside is a painter and muralist who works from a studio in a converted warehouse in Brooklyn. Working primarily with spray paint and acrylic, he builds large-scale abstract compositions from vivid color bands and interlocking geometric shapes, often starting from the canvas center and expanding outward, and has described his work as intentionally non-figurative so that all interpretations are correct. Woodside relocated to New York in the early 2000s to attend the School of Visual Arts. His murals and commissions have appeared worldwide for clients including Google, Adidas, Nike, Volkswagen, Samsung, and the NFL, and he has exhibited wood-resin pieces at Colette in Paris.
