I have always used my body as a way to understand myself, arranging, concealing, and revealing in small, instinctual performances. These gestures—surrendering to gravity, pressing into space, negotiating visibility—are quiet acts of becoming. Through both choreographed and improvised movement, I engage in a dialogue with myself. My work explores embodiment: what it feels like to inhabit a body that is at once personal and politicized. It is an autobiography, a record of my family, my memories, and my shifting sense of self, but also an inquiry into broader ideas of intimacy, visibility, and representation. Through performance and material interventions, I examine the body as both seen and obscured, constrained and liberated. The camera becomes my audience, the witness to small movements, private rebellions, and transient states of transformation.
