Drawing

I sit on a small canvas chair with a sketchbook. Around me: cranes, drills, the grind of construction. The esplanades are new—fresh brick, retro lamps, young trees planted in rows. I draw in ink and watercolor, quick, before the noise shifts again. What stays with me is the tension. Steel rising, leaves unfolding. Hard edges, soft growth. Gowanus changing every day, but nature still pushing through. Come see this work in a group exhibition, (Un)Natural Habitats: Gowanus, curated by Why Not Art? It's a fantastic show, really!!!!!
