I sit on a small canvas chair with a sketchbook. Around me: cranes, drills, the grind of construction. The esplanades are new—fresh brick, retro lamps, young trees planted in rows. I draw in ink and watercolor, quick, before the noise shifts again. What stays with me is the tension. Steel rising, leaves unfolding. Hard edges, soft growth.
