Molly Snee

Molly works intuitively, using loose, energetic marks. She recalls memories of spaces or feelings to help guide her compositions, but the goal is not to make something she's seen before. Her paintings become new places built from familiar experiences; gathering shells on the beach with her mom, finding a patch of wild flowers on a hike, or taking the East River ferry at night.

Molly is a painter, illustrator, traveler & dedicated sketchbook-keeper. Her favorite topics to illustrate are personal stories and she's happiest capturing the natural world around her. Her work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators, American Illustration and Architectural Digest.
