Paperfinger started in 2009 with the desire to bring an original aesthetic to a time-honored tradition: Artful writing that doesn't follow the rules of traditional calligraphy — but carries on the respect, care, quality and elegance of the craft. Paperfinger is for the folks who care about writing it down, and who treasure the beauty of words by hand. Writing by hand is more than an art form or antiquated tradition. It is a method for connecting meaningfully with others and within ourselves. Calligraphy evokes our sense of the artist's hand and the person behind the words. Making art that speaks to me and to you as a client or customer is what matters. Along the way, Paperfinger values genuine human connection and kindness.
