Patrizia Messineo

Patrizia is a portrait and documentary style photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with a degree in photography from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018 and continued her education with the International Center of Photography. The series “Utopia” is a hopeful outcry and exploration the understated beauty of the natural world. It was born out of the artist deep sense of grief watching entire landscapes change from ongoing climate catastrophes. It is a reminder that if we want to save our planet, we have to return to nature, observe its rhythms, to get up close and hear what it’s trying to tell us.
