Peter Frank Patchen is a Brooklyn-based digital artist who grew up in Colorado, where the natural landscape shaped his interest in the relationships between nature, humanity, culture, and technology. He holds an MFA from the University of Oregon and previously founded the Cyber Arts (later renamed New Media) program at the University of Toledo; he now serves as an associate professor in the Digital Arts and Animation department at Pratt Institute. His practice spans interactive works, prints, web-based art, and mixed-media sculpture, organized into series such as Migration, Plastic Whispers, and Book of Moments. His work has been shown at venues including Sweet Lorraine Gallery and 440 Gallery in Brooklyn.
