Rina Kim (b. 1995, Los Angeles) is a painter based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. She earned a B.A. in Studio Art and Theater from Mount Holyoke College, then trained in atelier painting at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. After moving to New York in 2021, she studied with Leonid Gervits at the Art Students League and completed an MFA in painting at the New York Academy of Art in 2025. Working primarily in oil, she paints large-scale, abstracted still lifes of discarded and consumer objects, including a series responding to Warhol's soup cans, exploring themes of sentimentality, consumerism, and environmentalism. She has shown in group exhibitions in Venice, Siena, Florence, San Francisco, and New York.
