Best known for his signature blue monsters, his work has captured the imagination of fans worldwide. Subway Doodle has carved a distinctive niche in contemporary street art through his simple methodology: photographing ordinary commuters and digitally superimposing vibrant, blue monsters that interact with human subjects in humorous and sometimes poignant ways. His artwork creates stories that reveal the fantastical potential humming beneath everyday reality. Due to the popularity of his work, artists around the world have begun using the term "subway doodle" to label their own drawings created while riding the local subway. Subway Doodle is the only artist, besides Banksy, to be featured in a solo exhibition at the Banksy Museum in New York City. He sold an animated show based on his work to Comedy Central, created art for music legends Dead & Company, Naughty By Nature, and Doug E. Fresh, and starred in a Google ad campaign. Subway Doodle has directed music videos, commercials, and short films, and animated a commercial starring Daniel Radcliffe. His work in television has earned him two Emmys, dozens of media awards, and has been displayed at the Museum of the Moving Image.
